Rachel Kost has performed with the New World Symphony Orchestra in Florida as a substitute bassist and was an Associate Member (bassist) in the Chicago Civic Orchestra 2022-23. Rachel also performs regularly as a substitute bassist for the Canton Symphony Orchestra, the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra, the Maryland Symphony Orchestra, and the Akron Symphony Orchestra.

Rachel received her Bachelors in Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2020 studying with Scott Dixon, section bassist of the Cleveland Orchestra. In 2022, Rachel earned her Masters in Music from the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University studying with Ira Gold, section bassist of the National Symphony Orchestra.
