Kathy Stockmaster has been with the Firelands Symphony Orchestra since 2006.  She resides in the Cleveland area and is currently on the faculty of the Aurora School of Music where she has been bassoon instructor since 2005. She also currently plays with the Snowbelt Symphony Orchestra and performs in musical productions at Lakeland Community College.

Kathy earned her bachelor’s degree in bassoon performance from Cleveland State University where she studied with Ron Phillips, Jonathan Sherwin and Mark DeMio.  She earned her Master’s degree from Kent State University, studying with Dave DeBolt.
